These Ariat slip-on boots are made of leather and not completely waterproof, but with care can be treated to repel water. While they are not steel-toed, they are safety rated. The boots are in men's sizes only, so women should look for Ariat women's boots instead. Unfortunately, customers had difficulty with sizing, with some finding them too tight while others found them too loose or narrow.
