The Cobalt 55 Quart Roto Molded Super Ice Cooler boasts a sturdy build, durable handles, hinges and wheels. According to the manufacturer, the cooler can hold ice for up to 5 days. While some customers have agreed to this claim, others found that the ice melted rapidly. Most customers were pleased with their purchase, especially since it was cheaper than the Yeti but offered similar durability and functionality. There is currently no cutting board or divider/basket available for the cooler, but the manufacturer is working on it. The interior width is 12.5" measured in the middle, and the cooler can withstand hundreds or even thousands of pounds of weight. The wheeled cooler version is 16.4" while the non-wheeled is 15.6". The cooler is also rated for hot and cold storage and can float. Leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods should be avoided.
