The Champlain Plastics Drop in Step for Above Ground Pools is a great addition to any above-ground pool. The steps make it much easier to enter and exit the pool, especially for those with mobility issues. The product is easy to assemble and install, and it attaches directly to the pool wall or upper rim. The steps are deep and wide and there is enough space under the stairs to vacuum easily. However, there is no access prevention for children to go under them. The product is also buoyant and requires the user to fill the ballast container with pea gravel for stability. The stairs are durable and made of one piece plastic material. The handles may be a little wobbly, and contact with the pool wall may cause slight damage. Some air vent holes can be overlooked, but it is a minor issue.
