    Answer: Yes, it will work fine. It's all about experimentation, but I'd personally go with the 300 if you're using a UV1 though.
  • Question: Are they sold by pairs or a piece only?

    Answer: This is only the snare side (bottom) of the drum. Resonant heads and batter heads are different. The batter head it the head that you hit. This head only gets touched by the snare wires.
  • Question: Is the snare side same as the bottom side?

    Answer: Yes, On this product you're purchasing the bottom head that the strainer wires touch.
  • Question: Do the snares buzz when toms are used?

    Answer: No matter what, you will get SOME snare buzz. It depends on the tightness of the snares, and the tuning of the toms and snare. If the snares are loose, you will get more buzz as opposed to if they were tight. Also, the closer in pitch the tom(s) are to the pitch of the snare, the more snare buzz there will be. This is because of the frequency of the sound waves.
  • Question: Does this work well with the Evans hydraulic batter heads?

    Answer: Works very well with the hydraulic batter head, particularly the variety music I played (rock, jazz, country, gospel). Tuned is tight which allows me to adjust batter as needed.
  • Question: How does it sound with the Evans onyx batter head?

    Answer: Very crisp clear and from the snap of the snare it is a solid sound.
  • Question: Does it come with a pad?

    Answer: These snare side heads are designed for heavy hitters!! And they work well for any snare drum buzz!!
