The C5 Corvette Hood Seal is a useful addition to any 97-04 Corvettes as it keeps water from entering the intake. The product is basically weather stripping and has an excellent fit, however, some customers have complained about the condition of the product on arrival. The moulding of the product curved after being in the box for a while but could be fixed by leaving it in the sun for about 15 minutes. There were mixed reviews as to whether the seal actually prevented debris from entering the air intake, therefore it might not be worth the investment for some customers. Overall, the product has a strong adhesive and great quality material, and fits non-obtrusively in the gap, resulting in a factory-like finish.
