Lindberg Models LN215 1:250 Scale Mayflower Model

The Lindberg Models LN215 1:250 Scale Mayflower Model has garnered mixed reactions from customers, primarily centered on the model's size and the level of detail included in the kit. While some buyers appreciate the kit as an introduction to model building—especially for children or beginners—others have expressed disappointment over the lack of essential supplies like glue or paint, which are typically expected in model kits. Several reviews mention the model's compact size, with one customer noting it's only about 4 inches long, which may not meet the expectations of those seeking a larger display piece. Moreover, quality control appears to be an issue, as some users reported missing pieces, which detracts from the overall satisfaction and value of the product. Despite these setbacks, the model has a certain charm and appeal for those interested in its historical context, particularly among individuals with Pilgrim heritage. Overall, the model seems to fulfill its role primarily as a basic starter kit, though many feel it lacks the completeness and craftsmanship desired for a more mature modeling experience. The sentiment among reviewers highlights the Mayflower model as a decent, but not exceptional, choice for young hobbyists or first-time builders. **
