Action & Adventure Editorial Review
Vikings Season 4 receives mixed reviews from customers. Some viewers enjoy this season, praising the great cast, addictive storyline, and overall quality of the show. They believe that Vikings continues to improve with each season and highly recommend it. However, there are also negative reviews suggesting that the writers lost the plot in this season. Some viewers feel that certain character developments, such as Rollo's sudden change of loyalty and Lagertha's homosexuality, were unnecessary and only served to fulfill a "Hollywood woke checklist." These viewers found the last few episodes of the season to be subpar and claim that the following seasons only get worse. The most polarizing aspect of Season 4 is the handling of the main character, Ragnar. Some viewers criticize the way he is written off the show, describing it as drawn-out, nonsensical, and lazy. They feel that Ragnar's character undergoes inConsistent changes, going from being sick to insane to suddenly not insane. They also express frustration with the introduction of replacement actors and what they perceive as the inclusion of "woke" characters that do not fit the historical context of the show. These negative reviews suggest that Season 4 ultimately disappoints viewers and fails to live up to the previous seasons. In summary, Vikings Season 4 receives a mixed reception from customers. While some appreciate the show for its cast, chemistry, and addictive nature, others criticize the writers' decisions and character developments in this season. These negative reviews highlight inConsistencies in the plot and the introduction of characters they deem as unnecessary. Overall, the reception of Vikings Season 4 is divided among viewers.
