History Editorial Review
First Bite is a comprehensive guide that explores the relationship between children and food, authored by Bee Wilson. The book offers insight into how parents can introduce solid foods in a fun and positive manner. Many readers, including parents and professionals like feeding therapists, have praised the book for providing substantial information backed by research. One reviewer highlighted the step-by-step process that encourages freedom of choice for children when it comes to food, rather than forcing them to eat. While some mentioned parts of the book felt drawn out, overall it received high recommendations for its informative and friendly approach to nutrition and feeding practices.
