Fashion Design Editorial Review
GUCCI: The Making Of is an illustrated coffee table book published by Rizzoli on November 1, 2011. It spans 384 pages and showcases stunning photography and insightful text, chronicling the Gucci empire up to 2011. Though it predominantly focuses on the creative direction of Frida Giannini, it balances text and images effectively, avoiding the pitfall of text-heavy fashion publications. Readers highlight its historical richness and the inclusion of iconic fabrics, making it a delightful addition for both fashion enthusiasts and collectors. While the book is visually captivating, some may find the physical condition on delivery could be better.
