Slofoodgroup recommends that customers purchase no more vanilla than they plan on using within 45-60 days as the shelf life of vanilla is affected by humidity, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. The beans are imported from the current 2017 season and were cured over a period of 120 days. The listing is for cured vanilla beans and customers cannot plant the seeds. These beans can be used to make vanilla sugar, but Slofoodgroup advises customers to check the vanilla bean seeds' size to ensure they fall within the required spectrum. The Beans received mostly positive reviews with many customers using them to make homemade vanilla extract.
