Xantrex Electrical Equipment 808-8040-01 Editorial Review
Xantrex 808-8040-01 Truecharge 2 Remote Control 3rd gen is a well-designed ergonomic remote that allows for seamless monitoring of the charger while keeping you away from the engine compartment. Users appreciate being able to charge at a lower rate in less-than-perfect supply voltage conditions, which is particularly beneficial in marine environments. It features button control with 5 buttons, is compatible with devices up to 10 meters away, and operates on 3 AA batteries, making it both convenient and user-friendly. However, there have been some reports of compatibility issues with newer models, which highlights a need for clearer communication about device compatibility from Xantrex.
