Answer: I can definitely taste the basil in this oil, but strength is a pretty subjective measure. The only way to determine how strong it is to your palate is to try it, I'm afraid. -

Why would this need refrigeration after opening?
Answer: Oil is oil. It can get rancid and refrigeration prevents that. Personal use suggests that the taste of basil is strong when the oil is not heated at all, in other words, use it as a drizzle or in a vinaigrette, not for cooking. -

Answer: Organic high-oleic sunflower oil, sunflower oil, garlic -

Is it good for high heat?
Answer: Yes, but even high heat oil can smoke at certain temperatures. Refined sunflower oil is typically safe and does not smoke up to 450°F. Unrefined is rated up to 320°F -

Answer: Any oil can be used for pesto. I use different oils based on other ingredients; nuts, citrus. -

Didn't see 'refrigerate after opening' on label. I have the garlic infused flavor and it's been open in my cupboard for 5 days...still safe to eat?
Answer: I actually did not realize it either and mine has been open for some time and stored in my cupboard. The website said 'for best results' so I think it’s just a matter of taste. When oils spoil they start to smell rancid and mine smells just fine. They should be used within six months so I will be using mine more often. -
