What additional features does the Fieldpiece DR82 offer?

Beyond its primary function of leak detection, the Fieldpiece DR82 includes a few additional features, such as a durable construction for field use, a protective nozzle to improve detection efficiency, and an automated shut-off to conserve battery life. The user can also easily switch between different refrigerant types, making it a versatile tool for various scenarios, such as routine maintenance, emergency repairs, or detailed inspections.

Can the Fieldpiece DR82 be calibrated?

The Fieldpiece DR82 requires minimal calibration, as it is designed to maintain consistent accuracy out of the box. However, regular maintenance checks and following the manufacturer's guidelines ensure optimal performance over time. Calibration is not typically necessary for everyday use, making it a convenient choice for technicians who need a reliable tool that remains ready for action throughout its lifespan.

How portable is the Fieldpiece DR82?
