The 2 in. X 24 in. Masonry Drill Bit SDS Max has received mixed reviews from customers. However, others have noted that the bit failed after a while and that it may be better suited for occasional use rather than frequent drilling. The bit also needs to be dipped in water every few seconds for optimal use. The SDS shank diameter is 21/32 inches, and the overall length is 6 inches, with the part of the shank that is SDS being 2 1/2 inches long.
