What are the dimensions of the 500 CD DVD CPP Clear Plastic Sleeves?

The dimensions of the sleeves are designed to perfectly accommodate standard CD or DVD discs. Each sleeve typically measures approximately 5.25 inches by 5.25 inches, providing a snug fit to protect your discs from dust, scratches, and other potential damage. These sleeves are ideal for organizing your media collection whether you are a music lover or a movie enthusiast.

How many plastic sleeves are included in a pack?

Each pack contains 500 CD DVD CPP Clear Plastic Sleeves. This bulk quantity is perfect for collectors or organizations looking to store large quantities of discs safely and efficiently. It allows you to store your entire collection with ample protection while keeping everything neatly organized. Perfect for libraries, schools, and personal media collections.

What material are these sleeves made from?

These sleeves are made from 100-micron CPP (Cast Polypropylene), a durable and flexible material known for its clarity and strength. This thickness provides excellent protection against scratches while ensuring visibility of the disc label. The moisture-resistant properties of CPP also help prevent dust and dirt from accumulating, maintaining the quality of your discs over time.

How do the flaps work on these plastic sleeves?

The clear plastic sleeves come with a useful flap that securely holds the CD or DVD in place, preventing it from slipping out. This feature is particularly advantageous when handling or transporting discs, as it protects against incidental drops. The flap design ensures easy insertion and removal while keeping your media protected and organized.

Are these sleeves suitable for archival storage?

Yes, these clear plastic sleeves are suitable for archival storage. The 100-micron CPP material is acid-free and provides a stable environment for your CDs and DVDs, helping to maintain the integrity of the data over time. Using these sleeves can significantly extend the lifespan of your media collection and prevent degradation caused by environmental factors.

Can these sleeves fit oversized or special edition discs?

These sleeves are primarily designed for standard CDs and DVDs. While they fit typical sizes perfectly, oversized or special edition discs may not fit correctly. If you have unique discs, it may be worth considering alternative storage solutions specifically designed for those sizes. For standard collections, however, they offer excellent protection.

What is the stitching feature on the borders used for?

The stitching on the borders of these sleeves adds to their durability and strength. This reinforcing feature prevents tearing during repeated use and adds an extra layer of protection. It also helps maintain the shape of the sleeve over time, ensuring that your discs remain safely encased. This is especially useful for frequent handling and transport.

Are these sleeves reusable or recyclable?

The CPP material used in these sleeves is durable and can be reused multiple times without significant wear. At the end of their life cycle, they are recyclable in facilities that accept polypropylene. This makes them an eco-friendlier choice for storing your media collection, allowing you to organize while being mindful of the environment.

Can I use these sleeves for storing artwork or booklets?

These sleeves can be versatile! While primarily designed for CDs and DVDs, they can also accommodate small booklets or artwork that fits within the sleeve's dimensions. This allows you to keep your related materials bundled safely together, such as the art that accompanies your CDs or DVDs. Just check dimensions to ensure a good fit.
