    Answer: Yes, the lamp can be used with just the main bulb and the nightlight can be switched off.
  • Question: Does the lamp come with a warranty?

    Answer: The warranty information can be obtained from the manufacturer, Park Designs.
  • Question: Is the 12-inch Shade necessary for the lamp?

    Answer: The 12-inch Shade is sold separately and is optional for the lamp.
  • Question: Does this match the willow lamp shade that you sell? Or are the colors different?

    Answer: I did not purchase the lamp shade so I cannot answer that, but I will tell you that the quality of this lamp is poor and I received it with one pane of glass broken.
  • Question: How tall is the lamp?

    Answer: The base is 10 1/4 inches tall. The whole lamp is 21 inches.
  • Question: What kind of switch does it have to turn on the lamps? On the cord, a chain or on the lamp itself?

    Answer: The switch is on the lamp itself. When you first turn it on both lights are on, turn the knob again and the top light goes off and just the nightlight on the bottom is on and turn the knob one more time and they both shut off. This is a great lamp.
  • Question: Is the shade clamp on or does it screw on?

    Answer: The shade screws on.
  • Question: Is everything included except the lamp shade?

    Answer: The lightbulbs and lampshade aren't included.
  • Question: Does the arm adaptor to the screw-on shade come off? So if you wanted to use a clip-on shade that would sit on top of the light bulb?

    Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. The harp and finial are removable so that a shade with a bulb clip can be used if desired.
  • Question: How do I get the night light to work?

    Answer: The switch on the lamp is a four-way switch. The first turn will turn both lights on, the second turn will turn off the night light, the third turn will turn on just the night light, and the fourth turn will turn the lamp off.
  • Question: What is the overall height with the shade on it?

    Answer: 20 inches from the base to the top of the shade.
  • Question: Do you need a 3-way lightbulb for the lamp?

    Answer: No, you don't. I have this lamp and use a regular bulb. With each click, the top comes on and then the bottom.
  • Question: I need another painted cardboard sleeve for my nightlight. Can I please get one?

    Answer: The glass in mine was shattered in a million pieces when it arrived, I sent them both back.

The Park Designs Iron Lantern Lamp looks nice, but lacks in quality and is overpriced for what you get. Made of sheet metal painted to look like iron, it does not include a lampshade or either of the two bulbs. Many customers have reported receiving the lamp damaged or with parts off-center. The switch has also been noted to not work correctly. Some have reported that replacements were sent to them quickly, but with new issues such as scratches. Overall, this lamp is not recommended.
