SEYMOUR 2C99 Corn Knife, 18-Inch

### Seymour 2C-66 Corn Knife The Seymour 2C-66 Corn Knife has garnered a mixed reception from users, blending practical utility with some notable design drawbacks. Customers appreciate its versatility, often finding it effective for tasks beyond its intended use, such as carving pineapples, dispatching fish, and performing yard maintenance. Many reviewers highlight its robustness, noting it can withstand tough jobs, even when cutting into dense materials like bamboo and small woody vines. While the product is praised for its fit, finish, and outstanding value for the price point, the factory edge is Consistently noted as disappointing, necessitating sharpening right out of the box. However, many users agree that enhancement is relatively straightforward, requiring just a little time with sharpening tools. The handle design also received mixed feedback; while some found it comfortable, there were complaints about uneven slabs that required modification for an optimal grip. On the downside, some customers noted limitations in the knife’s cutting capability, feeling that its shorter and heavier design inhibits speeds necessary for clearing thicker branches effectively. Additionally, the knife's potential as a dual-purpose tool for BBQ hasn't been overlooked, with users finding alternative uses, although its original design was questioned in terms of effectiveness on larger tasks. In summary, the Seymour 2C-66 Corn Knife shows promise in a variety of situations while falling short in skill-specific capacities for serious cutting tasks. It’s a product that may appeal more to casual users looking for an affordable, all-purpose tool rather than those seeking precise or heavy-duty performance. ###
