- Backstage Noir Ceiling Tiles from Armstrong Ceilings feature a medium, non-directional texture with a square lay-in edge for a dramatic black drop ceiling appearance. Size: 24 inches by 24 inches by 3/4 inch. These mineral fiber ceiling tiles install easily in a standard 15/16 inch suspended grid system. With an NRC of 0.70 and a CAC of 35, these tiles provide excellent sound absorption and blocking performance. Featuring ASTM E84 Class A fire performance certified by UL, they meet high safety standards. The bold black finish creates a striking visual effect ideal for theaters, entertainment rooms, and music spaces. Each carton contains 12 pieces covering 48 square feet. Made in the United States from mineral fiber, these tiles are free from chemicals of concern and meet various green building standards. Suitable for movie theaters, music rooms, entertainment rooms, and home theaters.
