The GRR-RIP Block is a versatile and effective push block for woodworkers. It has 4 “heel hooks” that hang over the edge of the workpiece to get a better push on the end stock. The hooks can snap in and out, allowing them to be replaced. It can also be used on its edge, so woodworkers can push stock on a router table or stabilize wood while re-sawing on a band saw, where those hooks can be particularly helpful. The GRR-RIP Block is also great at the table saw and for use in jointing. There is a video showing how to build a GRR-RIP BLOCK Stand that magnetically mounts to your jointer. The grip surface is excellent, giving woodworkers full control of the material. Review-wise, some have had issues with some of the hooks falling out, and the bottom peeling off. The GRR-RIP Block is overpriced according to some customers, particularly as screws to attach the deflector plate are not included. Overall, the GRR-RIP Block is a reliable and effective push block for woodworkers.
