Answer: First, consider the weight and thickness of the item you are fixing. Ideally, use a screw length of 50 mm + item thickness. If the item is only a few millimeters thick, a 50 mm length screw should suffice. If the item is 20 mm thick, use an 80 mm screw length. Make sure to drill the hole an extra 15 mm to accommodate the screw. Use a 5 mm diameter screw for lighter items.
